This testimony is important to me because it describes the wonderful work of God being done in my life.
My name is Susan and I am from a village of Shekhupura City. After the death of my husband I take care of my children by my own. People living in our village are so poor and mostly meeting their needs by working in fields. I also work in fields. I am a mother of 3 sons and two daughters. They all are married now.
When my husband died I was experiencing great fear because I felt so alone. I put my heart to the Lord in prayers and ask for His great help and support at that time of hardship.
Our pastor preached on Deuteronomy 31:6, where it is written: “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”
I felt that Lord talks to me that day. I strengthen myself at that time by saying that GOD LOVES ME. He says that he will never forsake us or leave us. That day I choose not to fear as I knew he will deliver me, just like when he delivered me those other times when I was in times of hardship.
It was the greatest desire of mine to have my own Bible so that I can study God’s Holy Word and know Him more and more. I asked our Pastor that if I can get my own Bible but he says that they don’t have any extra to give to me. I even didn’t know from where these Bibles come and from where I can get one. I kept on asking my pastor and because he didn’t had any one extra for me so I often make it possible to spend time in church so that I can read from our Pastor’s or any other’s Bible.
{READ THIS}I SPENT MANY YEARS DESIRING TO HAVE MY OWN BIBLE. And one day our pastor visited to my home and says “Susan I have a great news for you, you are going to have your own Bible very soon”. I was so thankful to the Lord for such a great news. Sooner I was going to have my own Bible.
The day comes when I was given my own Bible. I felt like I am holding the treasure of my life. Praise the Lord!!!
I want to say thanks to the Brother David Jesus Follower Cooke for making it possible that today I have my own Bible. I am an old lady and spent many years of my life waiting for this day to come. Praise the Lord that He made it possible and send His Word through His people. May God continue to bless everyone who is involved in sharing Lord’s Word with needy believers of Christ. I am glad that He done this miracle in my life before I die. Glory to God. I can say that very boldly that GOD LOVES ME and He LOVES YOU TOO. He said that “he will never forsake us or leave us”. He keeps all of His promises. He blessed me with my own Bible. Praise the Lord!
